SAN FRANCISCO \u2014 Melanie Krygier<\/strong>, the Private Equity Tax leader for Grant Thornton LLP, has been named one of San Francisco\u2019s \u201cMost Influential Women in Business.\u201d The annual awards, presented by the San Francisco Business Times<\/em>, recognize women leaders who have a significant impact on both their organizations and the Bay Area business community. This year\u2019s honorees will be celebrated at an event on Tuesday, Oct. 3 and profiled in a print issue by the publication.<\/p>\n

Krygier joined Grant Thornton in 2013, and in total, she has 17 years of experience serving public and private companies across multiple industries, with a focus on the technology industry. For the majority of her career, she has focused on consulting in mergers and acquisitions. Specifically, she and her team conduct buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence, as well as tax structuring and modeling for clients that are contemplating potential sales, investments or restructuring.<\/p>\n
