In an exclusive interview with CNN’s Laura Coates, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, reinforced President Joe Biden’s promise to thwart any attempt at the enforcement of a nationwide ban on abortion made by extremists. Vice President Kamala, who began her Reproductive Rights Tour in Wisconsin on Monday, reinforced her distaste for Donald Trump’s “pride over intentionally setting the stage for overturning Roe V Wade in 2022.

Laura reminded Vice President Kamala she held Donald Trump responsible for the nomination of the three Supreme Court justices who were influential in overturning Roe V Wade.
“He’s proud that women have been deprived of fundamental freedoms to make decisions about their own body,” Vice President Kamala told the CNN host. “By inference, proud that doctors are being penalized and criminalized for providing healthcare. Proud that women are silently suffering because they don’t have access to the health care that they need.”
Vice President Kamala reminded Laura that the stakes are very high with this election, “President Joe Biden has been very clear. When Congress puts the protections of Roe back into law, he will sign it.”
