Coco Austin and Daughter Chanel Strike Fierce Poses as They ‘Continue Our Matchy Match Tradition’ on Pool Day

The family downtime came just days before the 7-year-old’s walk in New York Fashion Week

Coco Austin loves an opportunity for a matching moment with her little girl.

The model mom, 44, shared another fun photoshoot with daughter Chanel, 7, as they donned matching black and white striped swimwear and posed together amid a family pool day.

“After we were on a mini @llcoolj #forcetour with Ice. The girls had a fun pool day on Labor Day to relax after we have been running around !” Austin, who shares Chanel with husband Ice-T wrote.

“Of course, we had to continue our matchy match tradition swimsuits 🩱 @sugardollllz.”

Last week, Chanel was photographed walking down the runway at the 13th Annual Rookie USA Fashion Show. Wearing a matching blue sweatsuit, Chanel strutted down the runway and blew a kiss as she reached the end.

Along with Chanel, Ice-T is dad to daughter LeTesha, 47, whom he shares with his high school girlfriend Adrienne, and son Tracy Jr., 31, with ex-girlfriend Darlene Ortiz.

During a May appearance on the That Moment with Daymond John podcast, the actor talked about the differences between raising his older children and Chanel. “I am so much more connected to her than my other kids,” said the rapper.

The rapper chatted with PEOPLE last month about co-hosting A&E’s Hip Hop Treasures and opened up about how people shouldn’t expect from his family what they’d expect from an “average” family.

“We do our parenting,” he said. “I think the thing of it is, it’s Ice-T and Coco. Our parenting is a lot different than the normal, square couple from Oklahoma. I’m a f—ing rock star, it’s different.”

“We’re like the Osbournes,” he leveled. “We have a different dynamic in our house. But it’s not harmful. That’s the main thing. It’s us.”
